Kostakis (Konstantinos Karatamoglou) is a South African-born, Abu Dhabi-based producer and DJ with a career spanning more than two decades in electronic music. Recognised for his deep, melodic and emotionally driven sound, he has built an international reputation through an extensive catalogue of original productions and remixes.

Kostakis first gained international recognition as one half of the platinum-selling act Crazy White Boy. The project delivered multiple #1 radio records across Europe and South Africa, including "Love You Better", which became the fastest record to reach #1 on 5FM, alongside "Zoma", "Phati" and "Something New". The project earned SAMA nominations, Metro FM Music Award nominations, and multiple Gold and Platinum certifications, with releases signed and distributed through major labels including Universal Music and Sony Music.

As a solo artist and in collaboration with Ryan Murgatroyd, Kostakis has released chart-performing music that has consistently entered Beatport's Top 100 and received international acclaim. Standout records include "Shamandrums", "Bargain Bin", "Down Dog", his remix of Deep Forest's "Sweet Lullaby", and "Wicked Eyes" with Ryan Murgatroyd.

His remix of Shimza's "Calling Out Your Name" on Kunye Records, released as part of the label's inaugural release, was supported internationally and further reinforced Kostakis' connection to Africa's contemporary electronic music movement.

Alongside his solo career, Kostakis is also a member of Strange Loving, an electronic project that expands his catalogue into a more crossover space, with releases connected to Sony Music, Universal Music and KATERMUKKE.

Kostakis has performed at some of South Africa's most significant electronic music events, including Ultra South Africa Resistance Stage, Rocking the Daisies, Cape Town Electronic Music Festival, Synergy, Corona Sunsets and Eden Experience, alongside an extensive history of club performances.
